Everyone reacts differently to change and its different forms. We know that our natural personality traits, past experiences of change, and present ability, will play an essential and decisive role in this interaction. Personal ambitions and motivations will determine to what extent we expand our perceptions, so these traits will have a significant impact and a fundamental role in leading your team to change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong>With that in mind, here are some helpful tips for how leading your team to change:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" id=\"1-explain-the-rationale-for-the-change\" style=\"color:#5dcb2f\"><em>1. Explain the rationale for the change<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Make sure you understand the clear rationale and specific timelines before <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/skills4us.com\/en\/effective-communication\/\" class=\"ek-link\">communicating with your business team<\/a><\/strong>. Because people take in information and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/skills4us.com\/en\/decision\/\" class=\"ek-link\">make decisions<\/a><\/strong> in different ways. Listen and absorb the change<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Some staff members remain in the denial and resistance phase for much longer than others. As a leader, you must listen, understand and support them. Your team&#8217;s dynamics may change during this time, so explaining your team&#8217;s development stages will help them recognize and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/skills4us.com\/en\/mindset-of-resilience\/\" class=\"ek-link\">adapt to this change<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" id=\"6-assign-roles-to-change\" style=\"color:#5dcb2f\"><em>6. Assign roles to change<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">People especially need a role during change, as it can positively influence their strengths. It helps them direct their energy and time into something valuable and appropriate. Rather than focusing on negatives or unknown possibilities\u2014research key influencers to ensure that they are engaging with their colleagues correctly and appropriately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" id=\"7-involve-your-team-for-change\" style=\"color:#5dcb2f\"><em>7. Involve your team for change<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Publish action plans and regular updates on the progress of the change process. Look to implement Quick Wins as soon as possible with significant changes. Involve your team in the implementation activity, reach out to them widely and celebrate <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/skills4us.com\/en\/perseverance\/\" class=\"ek-link\">success<\/a><\/strong> stories with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-medium-font-size\" id=\"8-experience-successful-change\" style=\"color:#5dcb2f\"><em>8. Experience Successful Change<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Please arrange for your business team or a critical influential team member to visit a place that works the way you envision it after the successful implementation of the change. Develop creativity for change<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">For members of your team who continue to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/skills4us.com\/en\/employees-resistant\/\" class=\"ek-link\">resist change<\/a><\/strong>, develop their <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/skills4us.com\/en\/developing-creativity-skills\/\" class=\"ek-link\">creativity<\/a><\/strong> to help them look at situations differently. Have them work with their closest peers to accept change and enable them to experience successful business practice.
